I know, I've been remiss--here is a photo from last week of Funnypants. We are all happy to welcome her to the world, and have been working on some feeding issues. Don't know if we've solved them, but here's hoping...

In other news, we celebrated Sweet Pea's birthday over the weekend, and she loved her low-key party in the park. At the end of the day, she sighed contentedly when asked if she liked her birthday, and said "the whole day was about ME."  A well-deserved day of attention for a new big sister. 

One of her presents was a dress from etsy in the Little House on the Prairie style, since she loves Laura and Mary so much. It was a big hit, but it made us as happy as it did her. She looked so innocent and free, tearing around the park with her friends, playing made-up games about fairies and minotaurs, wearing the dress and apron and flip-flops (with painted toes, which Laura and Mary surely did NOT have...) A joy to watch.
