Not bad when you can lie in bed and see balloons...

I am indeed at home, just in time to see hot air balloons float past the house. What a treat! We're too lazy to go down to the festival, so we wait  for the balloons to come to us. This year, the Energizer Bunny balloon was the big draw-it's HUGE. Kind of surreal to see those big ears poking out over the trees when it was taking off. 

The ride home from the hospital on Friday evening was so beautiful it made me cry. Sure, I know--even getting gluten free bread makes me cry now. But it was spectacular to be OUTSIDE on such a beautiful evening, for the first time in 5 1/2 weeks. Don't take it for granted, people.
